Nikon 70-200 2.8

Nikon 70-200 2.8

This is the first of the “big three” that I purchased, this one in 2008 I believe. It is a great lens though very big and heavy. I rarely use the hood since the lens looks enormous with the hood attached.

Nikon has released a newer version, but I don’t see the need. There is definately some vignetting with the D700, but Lightroom can fix that without any problems.  This lens is most often used on my D300 and I almost always have this lens ready when shooting with two bodies.
