Bridge, No. 1

The Convoy

Guangzhou is hosting the 16th Asian games next month and over the last few weeks we have seen the preparations and rehersals taking place throughout the city. Police barricades are being piled up along the street so that they can quickly be erected, and  the opening ceremony is practiced daily in the stadium. We can’t see them, but we can hear the coaches shouting out directions to the performers.

These ships are likely part of the opening ceremonies or at least something related to the Asian Games. They are parade floats in the most literal sense.  The Haiyun Bridge is in the background. Took this with last weeek with my Nikon N80 and Kodak 400TX.
